There are two map teams that help make maps for Lifeboat: the Server Maps Team, and the Marketplace Team. Below are the positions for each team.

Marketplace Team

The Marketplace Team is looking for creative people to help us make DLC content!

Here are some important requirements:

• Be creative and imaginative.
• Able to follow work orders and directives of Lifeboat Marketplace managers.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Able to receive constructive criticism.
• Must have access to PayPal in order to be rewarded for map making. Builders under 18 must have parental permission, a parent/guardian’s email, and PayPal access on the builder’s behalf.

*Payment based on quality and amount of work to be determined over the course of each task.

These are the different type of jobs available in the Marketplace team:

• Artist: job types include 3D modeling and texturing.
• Builder: build specific things in-game.
• Compiler: do final touch-ups on maps. Job-types may include things like fixing floating trees, or pasting in buildings.
• Terrain: create map landscapes.

Server Maps Team

We are looking for talented Builders to join our Server Maps team!

Here are some important requirements:

• Access to Windows 10 Edition, Bedrock Edition or Minecraft Java.
• You must be at least 15 years old. (There can be some exceptions if you are talented)
• You must be able to use or learn WorldEdit Tool / (FAWE).
• Able to follow work orders and directives of Lifeboat server managers.
• Able to use learn and use Trello and follow agile workflow.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Preferred experiences with creating maps for SkyWars, BedWars etc.
• Creative and imaginative.
• Must have access to PayPal in order to be rewarded for map making. Builders under 18 must have parental/guardian permission and PayPal access on the builder’s behalf.
